Giclee print of my painting, “Taurus Rising”. created in 2025. The print measures 18×24 with a .25 border on all sides. Print made using archival paper and inks.
This piece is inspired by a recent Seattle spring evening. Having moved from Denver, where urban lights often eclipsed the stars, I’ve found a new kind of intimacy with the night sky here amongst the trees.
The constellations feel like they are almost within reach and fill every inch of the sky.
“Taurus Rising” is an exploration of feeling small against a cosmic expanse.
It’s about finding your footing when the ground beneath seems unsure.
It’s about trusting that even when darkness prevails, a powerful, unwavering hope, like the rising bull, is always asserting itself from within.
